Zanzibar gained its independence from Britain in December 1963. A month later the Zanzibar Revolution took place. This Revolution established The Republic of Zanzibar and Pemba. Your tours will visit all historically significant cities, as well as give you some insights into the people.
For centuries, Cardamon, Cloves, and Cinnamon harvested from Zanzibar, have intrigued Sultan and Princes alike. Thus, the name Island of Spice. Now you will have a chance to pick your own spices and walk along its beautiful beaches while experiencing incredible food. The Night Market at Forodhani Gardens Park is something to behold.
Vendors selling Urojo, mango, and tamarind soup alongside chickpea fritters. So bring your appetite as well as your sense of adventure.
DAY 1:
Pick up from the airport and transfer to Stone Town Hotel for leisure and overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 2:
After breakfast, Stone Town Tour, visiting all historical sites including former a Slave Market, fish, and fruits market. Beautifully carved doors along the narrow streets in Stone Town heading to the Sultan’s Palace which is now used as Museum. Then we will head to the Old Fort which was built by the Portuguese. Finally, we will head over to The Old British Club which is now known as Africa House. Afternoon leisure and overnight at the Hotel for bed and breakfast
DAY 3:
Transfer to the North East Coast Beach Resort for leisure and overnight at a Beach Resort. Which will be all-inclusive.
DAY 4:
Beach leisure and overnight at a Beach Resort. (all-inclusive)
DAY 5:
Morning Transfer to the middle of the island for Spice Tour visiting a spice farm and getting a chance to taste different types of spices growing in Zanzibar. You will take an afternoon boat trip to Prison Island where you can walk on the Island to see the building which was supposed to be a Prison but was never used due to the Sultan of Zanzibar dying 6 days before it was used. That evening taking the road driving back to the hotel for overnight at a Beach Resort. (all-inclusive.)
